Het was augustus 2009. Het verbaasde mij enorm dat deze module nog niet bestond. Toen een klant van ons vroeg om de buienradar op zijn website dacht ik even een module downloaden en klaar is Kees. Iedereen had het over die buienradar. Deze website was, en is nog steeds, zo immense populair. We hebben gezocht, maar hij bleek nog niet te bestaan. Dan zit er maar één oplossing op en dat is er zelf een te maken.
We hebben inmiddels ook gemerkt dat deze module erg populair is geworden. We hebben hem via allerlei fora aangeboden aan de community en binnen een korte tijd werd deze module al duizenden keren gedownload. Inmiddels staat deze ook in de Joomla! extension database vermeldt zodat iedereen hem kan vinden.
De laatste nieuwe versie is geschikt gemaakt voor Joomla 3 en maakt gebruik van de automatische update service van Joomla!
Nieuwe Functies Structured changelog XML () added so the module's Changelog tab and the install/update screen render a clean, badge-styled version history.
Nieuwe Functies Installer now shows a "What's new in this version" block under the intro after install/update, read from the changelog XML (same style as Scorpion Article Showcase).
Nieuwe Functies Manifest now contains a dedicated update server () next to the existing Scorpion collection feed, so Joomla picks up new versions of this module directly.
